Inventory Associate - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: Maintains safe and well organized work area. Adheres to all established company safety policies. Provide timely and accurate information on critical issues to supervisor, colleagues, and other individuals as appropriate. Processes all completed pick lists as assigned. Processes all cut sheets using the appropriate computer systems. Performs cycle counts as needed. Ensure the accurate tracking and reporting of materials in accordance with established policy/guidelines.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred. Basic skills with MS Excel. Must be able to work in fast-paced work environment. Must possess clear and articulate verbal and written communication skills. Must work with minimum supervision and with all levels of employees, supervisors and managers.
CNC Programmer - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: Incumbent will use Auto-Cad to interpret a print of a part to be burned, drilled, and/or punched for the purpose of supplying the CNC machines with needed information to produce the part. Communicates with Engineering, Production, and Material Management to keep abreast of changes in part dimensions, production scheduling of parts and manufacturing needs to complete order. Prepares material requirements for Purchasing Department and processes order for manufacturing. Utilizes excess inventory in the most efficient way to substitute and/or modify existing assemblies or parts to fill in existing orders. Responsible for updating program files in manufacturing CNC machines. Prepares anchor bolt setting templates. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Two years experience in Industrial Engineering or manufacturing of any steel products.  Ability to do basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, trigonometry, division and algebra, with both fractions and decimals. Have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Knowledge of Auto-Cad systems. Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
QC Inspector - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: Performs visual dimensional inspection of poles, shafts, and other items ready for shipment. Uses various dimensioning tools (i.e. 25/50 foot tape measure, 6" rules, combination squares, levels, etc) to ensure proper coatings have been applied when required.  Inspects parts to blue prints/design drawings. Performs Visual Weld Inspections to the requirements of AWS D1.1.  Cross trains in other areas of Quality Control Department and fill in when need arises. Ensure that all documentation is accurately and neatly completed including pictures of loads. Keeps pass down log accurate. Comply with Sabre Tubular Structures safety standards at all times. Maintains a professional demeanor at all times with personnel of Quality Department and all departments at Sabre. Performs other duties as required.
Requirements: One year in Quality Control or related field in a manufacturing environment. Ability to conduct dimensional inspections using various dimensioning tools. Ability to perform work functions while standing for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and climb/bend to perform inspections. Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to all climates. Must be able to interpret and read blueprints.
Material Handler – Inventory Control - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: Unload steel plate trailers. Must be able to accurately identify raw material needed to supply to production. Uses 36,000lb forklifts and other heavy equipment to move various sizes of steel plates and poles. Moves in-process and finished poles to appropriate area in yard. Performs safety routine inspections prior to operating equipment. Abides by all Safety Standards and Policies including use of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred. At least one year of forklift driving experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures. Proven ability to operate forklift. Must be able to obtain STS Forklift Certification.
Material Handler – Production - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: Assists machine operators, welders, and other personnel in loading/unloading, transporting raw, in-process, and finished materials throughout the facility.  Must be able to accurately identify raw material needed to supply to production. Uses forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment to move various sizes of steel plates and poles. Moves in-process and finished poles to appropriate area in yard. Performs safety routine inspections prior to operating equipment. Abides by all Safety Standards and Policies including use of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred. At least one year of forklift driving or crane/heavy equipment experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures. Proven ability to operate forklift. Must be able to obtain STS Crane/Forklift Certification.
