C#/SQL Programmer - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individual will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining desktop applications using C#, SQL Server 2005 and .NET 2.0. Will also provide application support through direct interaction with end-users.
Requirements:

Successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in desktop application development as well as database design, programming and maintenance. Solid experience in OOP and complex object persistence are a must as are excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Qualified candidate must be detail oriented and be able to work efficiently on multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, results-oriented environment. Candidate must be a self-starter willing to take on challenging assignments. Experience with hierarchal data, such as bill of materials is a major plus. Experience with manufacturing, design patterns, engineering and science. Crystal Reporting preferred but not required. Excel automation or 3D rendering is a plus.

Leadership experience in a related field is preferred.


Maintenance A - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment and facilities.  Performs diagnosis, testing, disassembly, inspecting, repair and re-assembly of plant equipment or components such as hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic shear, vacuum equipment, roller leveler, cranes, electrical boards and components, etc. Performs skilled trouble shooting and servicing of pneumatic and hydraulic components. Performs proper replacement and/or adjustment of mechanical clutches, drive trains, etc. Repairs worn parts, straightens and fabricates fixtures (welding, cutting, brazing, and surface hardening applications). Assists junior personnel and operators in proper direction of equipment repairs. Ability to perform major and general repairs on all equipment. Occasionally will be called during irregular hours to handle production coverage with little or no supervision. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: At least three years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics. Must have knowledge of basic shop mathematics, addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication and decimals.  Ability to read and comprehend basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural schematics. Ability to convert inch to metric. Ability to use gauging equipment from .001" up, dial indicators, micrometers, feeler gauges, etc. Ability to climb (heights to 40'), lift, bend, kneel, crawl, stretch, and work in confined areas.
Contract Administrator - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: The Contract Administrator provides exceptional customer service while overseeing and managing in-house projects and job orders from receipt of a Purchase Order to Invoicing. Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with all customers. Communicates directly with customers, purchasing agents, engineers, field supervisors, project managers, and vendors. Communicates directly with internal department personnel, i.e., Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Drafting, Production, Shipping, and Accounting. Synchronizes and documents all administrative aspects of project files, customer schedules, and STS schedule. Creates shipping schedules using Excel. Coordinates deliveries plus manages all related communications and documentation between Shipping Department and clients.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. At least five years of customer service experience and/or project management. Manufacturing and shipping knowledge preferred. Ability to plan, organize and multi-task in a fast pace work environment. Excellent communication skills – written and oral as well as strong negotiation skills.
CNC Programmer - Alvarado, TX    Apply
Responsibilities: Incumbent will use Auto-Cad to interpret a print of a part to be burned, drilled, and/or punched for the purpose of supplying the CNC machines with needed information to produce the part. Communicates with Engineering, Production, and Material Management to keep abreast of changes in part dimensions, production scheduling of parts and manufacturing needs to complete order. Prepares material requirements for Purchasing Department and processes order for manufacturing. Utilizes excess inventory in the most efficient way to substitute and/or modify existing assemblies or parts to fill in existing orders. Responsible for updating program files in manufacturing CNC machines. Prepares anchor bolt setting templates. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Two years experience in Industrial Engineering or manufacturing of any steel products.  Ability to do basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, trigonometry, division and algebra, with both fractions and decimals. Have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Knowledge of Auto-Cad systems. Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
