Sabre Tubular Structures offers a variety of finishes for steel poles. We
can provide you with the traditional galvanized steel pole, a
self-weathering pole, or a protective color-coated pole. Sabre offers
zinc hot-dip galvanized coatings on steel poles up to 60 feet in length.
For poles longer than 60 feet, we have the in-house capabilities to
provide a metalized zinc coating. All galvanizing adheres to stringent
ASTM A123 specifications.
For projects that require something other than a galvanized pole, we have
weathering steel poles or color-coated poles. Weathering steel poles are
made of a specially-formulated steel material that forms a Patina to seal
out the atmosphere and reduce further corrosion. Over time they naturally
weather to a deep dark brown color. Minor damage to this oxide coating
heals itself, reducing the need for any type of maintenance.
Sabre Tubular Structures also offers both below and above ground
corrosion protection. For below ground protection, Sabre uses an advanced
polyurethane coating to provide the best barrier to corrosion. This
enamel-like sheet of thermoset plastic bonds directly to the steel
structure. It can be sprayed over both galvanized and weathering steel
poles. Sabre offers a color-coated finish for above ground protection.
Available in a wide range of colors, this finish is designed to blend
with any environment. Capable of handling extreme temperatures, Sabre's
color-coated finish is engineered for outstanding longevity.
